Het Amsterdamse Zeephuis was founded in 2021 by Piotr Gierek, Amsterdam based architect and designer. The designs of Het Amsterdamse Zeephuis combine high aesthetic quality with the simple functionality of a soap, locally inspired and locally handcrafted.
The main idea is to create beautiful objects that you can enjoy for some time as home decor, toys, gifts or souvenirs and then use them until they literally dissolve. Every design is inspired not only by Amsterdam’s cityscape but also by distinctive stories of people living in this extraordinary, cosmopolitan city.
