Moob (made out of buttons) originated from the first lockdown and a love of sustainability. For over 20 years, Marjolijn Borst van Scherpenzeel has owned a second-hand clothing store. When the store had to close during the lockdown, she started making jewelry from the vintage Chanel buttons in her own collection. The buttons usually come directly from damaged clothing. She also uses other Chanel items to make new items. Everything is in very small quantities or a few pieces. Moob is in no way affiliated with Chanel, yet she has found this way to preserve the beauty of tarnished Chanel items.
