Daan, also known as Chef van der Lecq, developed a passion for cooking at an early age.  Paying attention to both flavor palettes and dish presentation, he was inspired by chefs all over the world.  Daan finished his studies at Hotelschool The Hague and Toys 2 Cook was founded in Amsterdam shortly thereafter.

What started as a personal hobby soon turned into a mission to inspire and support both professional and amateur chefs as they seek ways to increase their cooking proficiency. The brand has products of unmatched quality, created from premium materials. The understated, modern designs incorporate aspects of European and Asian cooking cultures.
