AMSTERDAM FASHION WEEK SEPTEMBER 2019

It’s almost time for Amsterdam Fashion Week! Happening 5—8
September, both emerging and established talent will come together
for shows, openings, talks and parties that you won’t want to miss.

The week will be opened Thursday, 5 September, by Ronald van der Kemp, the world’s first
sustainable couture label, at the Moco Museum.
On Friday, 6 September, the Nieuwe Kerk is the place to be. There will be a performance by
Aron van Groos, last year’s winner of Kunstbende. Following right after will be the first show
by Ferry Schiffeler, winner of Lichting 2018. After this will be the 2019 Lichting show. The
last show of the day will be Ninamounah, who peels off the heavy layers of culture to release
what lies underneath: our instincts.
