Rijke’s fascination with jewelry found its roots in her grandparents’ jewelry store. She went on to study at the Goldsmith Education in Schoonhoven and later studied fashion at Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam. Soon after graduation, she began working as a jewelry designer for several fashion brands. After experiencing so many cultures on a trip around the world, she decided to start her own brand. She has since partnered with different museums to create designs, largely working with recycled Perspex. She donates designs to great foundations because she believes it’s important to give something back to society.
