SURVIVAL OF THE FASHIONEST

Survival of the Fashionest, founded in 2017 by Dutch designer Joost Jansen, is a hand-knitted clothing brand that puts creativity and craftsmanship beyond commercial interests. Its mission is to preserve European knitwear heritage and traditional design. Joost, a product design graduate from the Design Academy Eindhoven, began his career working alongside prominent figures in the industry, including Walter Van Beirendonck and Henrik Vibskov, before launching his own label. Collaborating with European knitters, he creates unique garments with traditional techniques and meticulous detailing. These sweaters, made from carefully selected yarns, take a minimum of three weeks to produce and come in a specially designed "Box of Wonders" for safekeeping.
